Webinar Held on “Investment Funds Through a Corporate Governance Lens”

On 20 October 2026, we held a webinar titled “Investment Funds Through a Corporate Governance Lens.” The webinar examined the governance structure of investment funds from the perspective of transparency, accountability and the protection of investor rights.

The panel, chaired by Dr. Ozan Duygulu, Director of the Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum, featured Haydar Acun, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Marmara Capital; Mehmet Gerz, Chairman of the Board of Osmanlı Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.; and Dr. Ata Can Bertay of the Sabancı University School of Management.

The panel discussed, from both industry and academic perspectives, topics including the responsibilities of portfolio management company boards toward fund investors, conflict-of-interest management, the independence of risk management and compliance functions, liquidity management and investor disclosure, as well as market structure and early warning mechanisms.

The webinar concluded with a Q&A session with participants. We thank all speakers and participants for their valuable contributions.
