TKYD and Corporate Governance
The Turkish Corporate Governance Association (TKYD) aims to be a pioneer among civil society organizations by implementing the corporate governance principles it advocates within its own structure, ensuring their recognition, adoption, and best practices.
In all of TKYD’s activities, the principles of “Fairness,” “Transparency,” “Accountability,” and “Responsibility” are followed, and great care is taken to ensure the efficient management of the association’s resources.
In this context:
- The term of office for the Chairman of the Board is limited to 3 years. (Board Decision No: 12 / July 16, 2003)
- The financial statements of the association and its economic enterprise are audited annually by independent external audit firms.
- The consolidated financial statements of the association and its economic enterprise, along with all activities, are regularly published on TKYD’s website at www.tkyd.org.
