Individual Membership

The individual membership conditions specified in the statute of the Turkish Corporate Governance Association are as follows:

• The individual must be a natural person or a representative of an institution possessing the qualifications to support corporate governance efforts in Turkey.
• Must be legally competent.
• Must not have been permanently removed from membership in any association for reasons other than non-payment of association fees, and must not be prohibited from joining associations.
• Unless otherwise specified by special laws, permission must be obtained from the relevant organizations in accordance with Article 3 of the Associations Law.
• Must not be included in the list of persons and institutions prohibited from trading in stock exchanges and other organized markets under Article 46/i of the Capital Markets Law.
• Must not have been convicted of any disgraceful crime.
• Must be nominated for membership by at least three Association members.
• Must pay the entrance fee for membership.

In 2026, the individual membership fee has been determined as 10,000 TL as an annual fee until 31 March 2026, and 11,500 TL as an annual fee from 1 April 2026 until the end of the year; the one-time admission fee is 1,000 TL. No admission fee is charged for reapplications by former members or for individual membership applications submitted by executives serving in our corporate member organizations. Membership Acceptance Procedure The candidate’s membership application form will be submitted for approval by the TKYD Board of Directors, and the candidate will be informed within a maximum of thirty days. If the application is accepted, four photos, a residence certificate, and a copy of the identity card will be requested. Membership fees can be paid to any of the bank accounts of the Turkish Corporate Governance Association listed below.

You can access the form here to make a payment via credit card. (After filling out the form, you can fax it to 0216 510 33 21 or send it to info@tkyd.org.) With the regulation made in the Associations Law, the bank receipt can be used as a proof of payment document.
