Tamer Saka, PhD. completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Business Administration, Istanbul University.
He held managerial roles in Risk Management Consultancy at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, respectively serving as Manager and Senior Manager. In 2004, he joined Sabancı Holding as Risk Management Director. Between 2010 and 2011, he served as Managing Director at Willis London, responsible for business development activities across approximately 20 countries, including Türkiye.
As of December 2011, Tamer Saka, PhD. was appointed as Coordinator of Strategy and Business Development at Kibar Holding. Following May 2012, he continued his career as President of Automotive and Corporate Functions Group and as a Member of the Board of Directors at Kibar Holding.
Starting in 2014, he served as CEO of Kibar Holding. In 2018, he was appointed President of the Cement Group at Sabancı Holding. Since 2021, he has served as a Member of the Board of Directors at BMS Group. In 2024, he transferred his shares in BMS Türkiye to BMS Group and, as of January 2025, assumed the role of Chair of the Board and CEO at Goldfinch Global Capital, which he founded.
Tamer Saka, PhD. also serves as Chair of the Board at the Corporate Governance Association of Türkiye (TKYD), Vice Chairman of the Board at Yünsa, and Member of the Board of Directors at Smart Holding.
